In my new avatar as an angel investor, I sit on the Board of quite a few startups. This is what I wish every founder knew about dealing with their board. As my friend, Veena from Mumbai Angels said,
" I think the one thing a lot of entrepreneurs miss is the onus on the Directors in terms of both accountability to other investors they represent as well as regulatory burden. If they knew how hard the decision to take up a Board seat is, they would probably value their Board more :) "
