I have first learned about surrogacy in India a couple of years back. And I must admit that the idea really struck me. It would be a good alternative for women who wanted to have a child but cannot because of medical reasons but on the other hand I also feel for the women of India who would be used as surrogates. I can't help but feel that they are somehow violated and used in the process.
Why do you feel the surrogates are being violated ? They do this of their own free will - and they use the money they earn to give their own children a better life !
