I believe the Indian healthcare system has become sick because it is not patient-centric. The best way to solve this problem is by promoting Information Therapy - providing the right information at the right time for the right person !
We have recently set up the Patient Information Education Trust, a non-profit organisation, to help promote patient education. We will be partnering with Healthwise USA, the world's largest patient education organisation.
The members of the Board include Mr Rajesh Jain.
We are looking for a CEO to lead this effort, so that it scales up and becomes self-sufficient.
We expect to deliver a blended model, using both real-world Patient Education Resource Centers ( such as HELP) and the web, to deliver this information.
